Fixtures Man Returns!
January 1st 2005, 11:36am, Soccer AM was about to take its final commercial break. Suddenly, we are taken to a scene in a DIY store, a man wearing green is putting some fixtures on a shelf, at first we couldn't believe our eyes. Then the man started to sing a familiar theme tune and turned round to reveal himself, yes, Fixtures Man was back on our screens, apparently back among the people in his local DIY store where he has taken back his crown as King of the Fixtures.

As a comedy presentation, this segment was gold, Robbie Knox's face when he waved to the unimpressed customer was classic. A truely under-utilised talent infront of the camera, Tim Lovejoy surely must now give this man a permanent role back on our television screens.
